Rajkot: A BJP leader was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Babra-Amreli Highway in Amreli district on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Kuldeepsinh Solanki, former president of BJP’s youth wing in Babra. He was also an ex-member of Babra municipality.
“Solanki was returning home after attending a marriage function in Ingorala village of Babra taluka when he met with the accident. We are checking the footages of the CCTVs installed at various places along the highway to ascertain the identity of the vehicle that had caused the accident,” said an official from Babra police station.
