A three-year-old girl has been found dead in a car in Victoria.
The child was found inside the vehicle on a main road in Morwell in Gippsland at 8.30pm on Friday.
The town reached 40C that day and was 34C when the car was discovered.
Police are investigating how she came to be inside the car, including whether it was part of a game of hide and seek that went horribly wrong.
It is not clear how long she was in the car for.
No charges have been laid.
