The veteran quarterback starred in a black-and-white Super Bowl commercial for the streaming network Hulu, in which he walks onto an empty field.

The Patriots weren't playing in Sunday's Super Bowl but that didn't mean Tom Brady was absent from your TV screens. 

The veteran quarterback starred in a black-and-white Super Bowl commercial for the streaming network Hulu, in which he walks onto an empty field.

 

 

“They say all good things must come to an end,” Brady says.

Was this how the 20-year veteran would announce his exit from the game — or from the Patriots?

Well, not exactly.

Brady then pitches Hulu + Live TV, which offers live sports, cable channels and original programming.

At the end of the spot, Brady says it's time to say goodbye to TV as we know it. 

“But me? I’m not going anywhere.”

The 42-year-old six-time Super Bowl champion has said several times that he has no plans to retire. But exactly where he'll play next season is still a mystery. The Patriots have reportedly offered him in excess of $30 million to return to New England. And several other teams have also been rumored to express interest in his services.
