MUMBAI: Suburban train services in Mumbai to witness a megablock on Sunday. The megablock will take place on Byculla-Vidyavihar Down slow line from 11.15am to 3.45pm. Up fast services leaving Thane from 11.24am to 3.26pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive at destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
The Down slow services will not be available at Chinchpokli, Curry Road and Vidyavihar stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Parel, Dadar, Kurla and Ghatkopar stations.
The rail block on
Harbour line between Kurla and Vashi will be from 11.10am to 3.40pm.
Special services will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai-Kurla and Vashi – Panvel sections during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans Harbour Line and Main Line from 10.00am to 4.30pm during block period.
A jumbo block of four hours will be taken from 11am to 3pm today on Up and Down slow lines between Bhayander and Vasai Road stations on Western Railway for maintenance of track, signals and overhead equipment.
During the block all slow line trains will run on fast lines between Borivali and Vasai Road/Virar stations.
