Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her budget speech, proposes Rs 27,300 crore for the development and promotion of industry and commerce in 2020-21. FM said that entrepreneurship has always been the strength of India. Sitharaman said that the govt recognises the knowledge, skills and risk taking capabilities of the youth. Hence, the govt is willing to create more opportunities for the youth. Govt will set up a investment clearance cell that will provide end-to-end facilitation and support including free investment advisory, information related to land bank in the centre as well as state levels.
