Sydney Wildlife Metropolitan Service macropod coordinator Jamie Illistrom has been managing the grisly incidents.
'Most people are quite scared it's a budding serial killer. There is a lot of anger out there at the moment. It's just horrible. I just don't get why, just why?' he said.
Police have been notified of the gruesome discovery.
'This appears to be the work of a serial offender and it's important that those people are brought to account for these crimes.' a spokesman for Wollondilly state MP Nathaniel Smith said.
'Sometimes a serial offender in these incidents can grow into more serious crimes. We strongly support any action that the police will be taking.'
Mr Illistom reminded the community to be vigilant.
He said to alert Sydney Wildlife Metropolitan Service on 9413 4300 of any injured animals sighted roadside.
