Youth hacked to death

A 28-year-old man was hacked to death by a four- member gang at Reddiyarpalayam on Wednesday.

The Reddiyarpalayam police gave the name of the victim as Balaji, a resident of Karunakarapillai Street, Nellithope. The victim, a money lender, was having tea when the gang attacked him, the police said. The police was looking into various aspects, including his recently developed enmity with a few close associates.
