Nitish Kumar will campaign in favour of the NDA candidates on October 17 and 18 in Samastipur
Lok Sabha and five assembly constituencies where
byelection is scheduled on October 21
“On October 17, Nitish and deputy CM
Sushil Kumar Modi will jointly address three election meetings in Samastipur Lok Sabha and
Kishanganj and Daraunda assembly constituencies,” JD(U) state general secretary (headquarters) Anil Kumar said on Tuesday.
Anil said Nitish and SuMo would reach Daraunda by a helicopter and address an election rally at the LBS High School ground in Bagaura in favour of JD(U) candidate Ajay Singh. Later, the two leaders would address another election rally at Shivajinagar under Samastipur Lok Sabha constituency in favour of LJP candidate Prince Raj.
Their third public meeting is scheduled at Kutchery Maidan in Pothia in favour of Sweety Singh, who is the BJP candidate from Kishanganj assembly constituency. After Pothia, the CM would return to Patna, Anil said.
“On October 18, the CM, accompanied by state education minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma, would address election rallies in Belhar, Nathnagar and Simri
Bakhtiarpur assembly constituencies in favour of the JD(U) candidates,” Anil said.
