Mangaluru: The in-charge head teacher of a government high school in Puttur has been booked under the Pocso Act for sexually harassing a girl student on Wednesday.
The accused, Nazeer, 40, a resident of Olamogaru, has been arrested and produced before a court. On October 14, a student had come to school to pay the fees for SSLC re-examination, during which Nasir allegedly harassed her sexually, after which she filed a complaint on Wednesday. He has been booked under the Pocso Act and IPC Section 354 in a case registered at the Puttur Rural police station.
