Dancing with the Stars is no stranger to having big names in its audience, but on Monday night the TV world was gifted with a Dawson's Creek reunion 18 years in the making. James Van Der Beek has been killing it on the dance competition show -- and currently sits second on the leaderboard -- but his former TV parents Mary-Margaret Humes and John Wesley Shipp decided to give Van Der Beek a little extra oomph during Disney week by coming to see him perform.
Humes and Shipp played Gail and Mitch Leery, the parents of Van Der Beek's eponymous Dawson, on The WB's late-'90s teen drama. Humes posted the sweet picture of the three of them together again after Van Der Beek's Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired number with Emma Slater.
"So proud of this one right here!!! Such an awesome night in the ballroom @dancingabc with @vanderjames ?? This is the first picture of the three of us together in 18 years!!! #dawsoncreek #dwts #foreverfriends #family is everything!!!" she wrote.

Of course, now Humes and Shipp have our hopes up for even more Dawson's reunions as Van Der Beek makes his way through the competition. We know that Busy Philipps is in town, but you'll have to stop us from swooning if we could get Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson to stop by. Just imagine!
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
