Horror as a ute crashes into a bus shelter injuring at least four people outside a busy Sydney shopping centre - leaving one fighting for life

A man is fighting for life after a ute crashed into a bus shelter near the Broadway shopping centre in Sydney, injuring three people and the driver. 

The crash happened near Victoria Park, on the corner of Glebe Point Road, at about 1.30pm.

The three pedestrians were taken to hospital for treatment. One man in his 70s was critically injured.

The car driver was trapped but has since been freed and taken to hospital too.

Police do not believe the crash was deliberate.
