Australian travellers are losing their minds over a luxurious house on wheels made out of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, which comes with a shower, staircase and bedroom.

The incredible campervan, which was a combined effort between motorhome maker Hymer and chemical company BASF, has been dubbed the 'VisionVenture' and aims to showcase what travel might be like by 2025.

Photos of the adventure car were posted to popular Facebook page Aussies Abroad who simply said it was 'coming soon'.

'Instead of a house should we just splurge and make something like this?' One person wrote.

Everything inside the home has more than one use, like a lamp that operates as the patio, ceiling and interior light, a staircase which has storage boxes inserted and a bathroom sink which tucks away to reveal the shower. 

The paintwork can cool the surface temperature of the car by 20 degrees Celsius making it perfect for summers Down Under, Business Insider reported.
