GREATER NOIDA: A person has suffered severe injuries after a Uttar Pradesh roadways bus going towards Bulandshahr overturned near Sirsa roundabout on Monday morning.
According to police, among the four occupants, the driver, identified as Deepak (32), was critically injured while others were discharged after first aid.
The accident took place around 6am on Monday when the roadways bus overturned after losing its balance while taking the turn at the roundabout.

“We received information from a passerby after which a police team was immediately sent to the spot. Prima facie only four persons including the driver and the conductor were sitting in the bus. They were sent to Yatharth Hospital for treatment,” said Prabhat Dixit, SHO, Site 5 Police Station. He added that while three of them were discharged after first aid, driver Deepak was admitted in the ICU as he has suffered injuries on head and a fracture in the leg. “The driver was probably speeding at the roundabout as a result of which the vehicle lost balance,” Dixit said.
