Lucy Zelić has been slammed after calling Adelaide a 'dull and boring s***hole' during an interview.
The SBS football host, who was mocked for using a 'fake accent' to pronounce player names in the World Cup, made the comments while interviewing Scottish footballer Ziggy Gordon on the show The World Games on Monday.
Gordon, 26, had been speaking about the Australian cities he's visited since moving over from Scotland.
'You won't see much in Adelaide, Adelaide's a s***hole,' Zelić said.

The comments sparked outrage from many Adelaide residents who have fired back at the host.

Zelić responded to the backlash on Twitter on Tuesday, saying: ‘Yesterday I made an off-handed comment about Adelaide on The World Game LIVE. I recognise these comments weren’t okay and I’m truly sorry for what I said'.
Zelić has been slammed on social media previously.
She made headlines in July last year after she cried before and after the France and Croatia final during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The presenter - whose family is from Croatia - was criticised by viewers for being too emotional during the coverage of the game.
In lead up to the match, Zelić shed tears while reading a quote from the Croatian coach, saying: 'If there was a stadium big enough for 4.5 million people it would be full.'
'I'm sorry, this is the line (from Rakitic) that got me,' she said as she wiped away tears.
'I'm sorry, apologies, but it's a really big deal for the Croatians,' she said.
She also faced backlash during the World Cup for pronouncing foreign names accurately.
