Karnataka: 15 injured after bus topples over

HUBBALLI: As many as 15 passengers travelling in a North Eastern Road Transport Corporation bus were injured after the bus veered off the road and toppled over near Narayanpur village in Gadag district on Monday morning.
Five passengers have suffered severe injuries and were shifted to Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences.
Police said the sleeper class bus with 32 passengers on board was heading towards Dharwad from Kalaburagi. The passengers alleged the accident happened after the driver allegedly dozed off.
Another accident took place just 100 meters away from the spot when a truck carrying vegetables rolled over. Vegetables were spilt all over the road and traffic was affected on the road for a few minutes due to both the accidents, said police.
