“We presently have a terminal with a capacity of 50,000 Kilo litre (KL) comprising 44,000 KL diesel, 5,000 KL of petrol and 1,000 KL of ethanol/ bio-diesel,” said Anil Kumar. As a part of the terminal expansion and capacity augmentation, the additional storage capacity of 54,000 KL of petrol and 42,000 KL of diesel is planned, which will take the total storage to 1.46 lakh KL, he added.
JM Verendar Rao, deputy general manager of IOCL Vijaywada division said that they are presently supplying fuel to 198 retail outlets located in Krishna, Guntur, and parts of Prakasam and West Godavari districts. He said that the terminal in the city is a smart terminal with complete automation which ensures improved efficiency, speedy operations, enhanced operational safety.
