NEW DELHI: There was high drama at a west Delhi hotel on Sunday afternoon when a man climbed its roof and threatened to jump off.
Despite efforts by the police till late in the night, the man, Sandeep, could not be brought down. Deepak Purohit, deputy commissioner of police (west), did not respond to calls and texts.
The hotel staff had noticed a man standing on the terrace of the hotel and screaming. They had immediately informed the police.
According to sources, the man climbed the eighth floor of the hotel after he was accused in a case by his wife.
