Passengers are reporting parts of Manchester Airport are in lockdown this morning.
The ongoing police incident has seen trains stopped to the airport.
Manchester Metrolink has tweeted: "Due to a police incident at Manchester Airport, services on the Manchester Airport line will only operate from Victoria - Wythenshawe town centre. Passengers can use their Metrolink tickets on bus services: 19, 102 and 103. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
While witnesses have reported that the airport is in lockdown with the train station closed.

Man seen running around naked at coach station
An eyewitness has described the moment she saw a naked man running around Manchester Airport’s coach station before police were called to reports of a suspicious package.
The airport’s travel interchange and surrounding buildings have been evacuated following reports of a suspicious package this morning.
A controlled explosion took place as a result.
Caroline Watson, a coach driver, said she was a man running around naked before police were called to the scene.
She told the M.E.N: “The guy was running around with his arms waving in the air, going up and down. He was running back and forth. He was going in and out of the terminus. He had no clothing on whatsover. It is not what you expect to see at 6.10am on a Monday morning.”

A spokesman for the airport has confirmed to our sister paper the Manchester Evening News that an area surrounding the train station has been evacuated.

The police are dealing with an incident at Manchester Airport, and this is causing disruption to trains at the station. Trains may be delayed or cancelled until approximately 10:15.
