2 GoaMiles drivers file assault complaint

PANAJI: Two taxi drivers of the state-run app-based taxi service, GoaMiles have filed a complaint with the Anjuna police station against three unidentified accused alleging physical assault and verbal abuse.
In his complaint, 26-year-old Abdul Khadar, a resident of Mangor, Vasco, said the assault occurred on Friday, post 11pm, in Arpora. He said that three unidentified persons alighted from a four-wheeler and restrained him and his friend, Gulzar Chowdhari from Ponda, also a GoaMiles taxi driver, from proceeding further.

Khadar said the accused then abused them using filthy language and also slapped and kicked him.
Further investigations are under way.
