SALEM: State higher education minister K P Anbazhagan alleged that DMK president M K Stalin was seeking white paper on industrial investments unable to digest the growing popularity of AIADMK government.

Addressing the gathering at an event organised to give away retirement benefits to former TNSTC employees in Salem on Sunday, Anbazhagan said it was not because of concern over the people of Tamil Nadu that Stalin was seeking a white paper on industrial investments. “Stalin is scared of the goodwill earned by chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and unable to digest the growing popularity of AIADMK government,’’ Anbazhagan said. He said it was for everyone to see the preparations by various companies who has signed MoUs during the global investor’s meet to set up units in Tamil Nadu. Ruling out the need for a white paper, the minister alleged that Stalin’s statements were sign that he was desperate to become chief minister. He said AIADMK would win in Nanguneri and Vikravandi byelections.
State transport minister M R Vijayabaskar who spoke at the event said the AIADMK regime was a golden period for transport employees.
