COIMBATORE: Members of Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (TPDK) on Saturday condemned the Southern Railway for recruiting only a small number of Tamil candidates for railway group D posts.
The organisation will stage a protest in front of the Madurai railway divisional office on October 1, TPDK general secretary Ku Ramakrishnan said. “The railways had recently selected 572 people to fill vacant group D posts in Madurai division. Only 11 of them were from TN. This happened in Trichy division also,” he said.
