Bangladesh vs Afghanistan 6th T20I Highlights:

BAN win by four wickets

Shakib and Mosaddek run between the wickets and took the remaining nine runs left to win the match. They have finally broken the four-match losing record against Afghanistan. Shakib finishes the innings scoring 70* from 45 balls. With this win, the final on Tuesday would be an even more interesting watch.

BAN need 9 more runs

After 7 runs in the previous over, Shakib and Mosaddek combine to hurt Rashid Khan in his third over. Both hit fours each, before Shakib goes really big which leaves Rashid with a frustrated face. 18 runs off the over. BAN are 130/6 after 18 overs.

BOWLED!

And lo and behold, Afif Hossain is dismissed by Rashid Khan after three singles in the over. Both the captains are really giving their all for their teams. On comes Mosaddek Hossain. BAN are 105/6 after 16 overs.

Fifty for Shakib

Some good news for Bangladesh as their captain is rallying on, and he has brought up his half-century in 34 balls. BAN are 101/5 after 15 overs.

WICKET!

And it is all crumbling down beside Shakib now. Sabbir Rahman is the latest to go, as he couldn't handle the delivery of Naveen-ul-Haq. Afif Hossain is on though. BAN are 96/5 after 14.2 overs.

WICKET!

After the restoration of the lights, Rashid Khan comes into the attack, and he dismisses Mahmadullah with his fourth ball of the innings. BAN are 93/4 after 13.4 overs.

Lights out!

What initially seemed like a drinks break turned out to be another case of power failure at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. No news on how long it is going to take to fix the flood lights. BAN are 84/3 after 12.4 overs.

WICKET!

It was going pretty well, but Karim Janat has found a breakthrough, as he dismisses Mushfiqur Rahim for 26. Earlier, he was hit for a six, but now the Afghanistan bowler has exacted revenge. AFG are 72/3 after 11 overs.

Back-to-back fours

Shakib has chose to flash his bat, and boy did he do it well? Gulbadin Naib pitched two balls, and he hit them sweetly, one over his head and one to his left. 11 runs from the over. BAN are 51/2 after 9 overs.

Singles galore

Ten singles in the last 12 balls. Well, yes Bangladesh are being quite safe and secure here, unlike the Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan, who has seemingly injured himself while fielding. BAN are 40/2 after 8 overs.

Shakib on the frontfoot

After just six runs from the last two overs, the captain has given his side some breakthrough. Shakib hits Janat for back-to-back boundaries and lifts the spirits at Chattogram. 10 runs from the over. BAN are 28/2 after 6 overs.

CAUGHT!

And look here, Bangladesh are on the backfoot now. Naveen-ul-Haq dismisses Najmul Hossain, as Rashid Khan safely catches the ball as the batsman hit the ball carelessly. BAN are 12/2 after 3.2 overs.

WICKET!

And Mujeeb gives his team the early breakthrough by dismissing Liton Das. He is caught by Asghar Afghan. BAN are 9/1 after 2.2 overs.

BAN out to chase

Liton Das and Najmul Hossain open for Bangladesh with Mujeeb Ur Rahman opening the bowling. A flurry of singles later, BAN are 6/0 after the first over.

AFG restricted to 138

After hitting 10 from the 18th over, Rashid Khan and Shafiqullah guided the team to a respectable total, but which might be a little too easy for Bangladesh. Off Mustafizur's last over, they got 9 runs, including a boundary by Shafiqullah. Bangladesh need 139 to win.

WICKET!

Rashid Khan is made to come on finally, as Karim janat is caught by Mustafizur off Shaiful Islam's delivery. AFG are 114/7 after 17 overs.

BOWLED!

And Najibullah Zadran is sent back to the pavilion Saifuddin's lethal pacy delivery. He leaves after scoring 14, and on comes Karim Janat. AFG are 109/6 after 15.4 overs.

AFG trying to comeback

After bit of a dry spell, two sixes in two overs have made things better for Afghanistan. Shafiqullah Shafiq does the honours to punish Shakib in the last over. 11 runs off of it. AFG are 107/5 after 15 overs.

RUNOUT!

Mahmudullah is quick to react as he throws the ball to Mushfiqur Rahim, and off goes the wicket and alongwith it Gulbadin Naib. Afghanistan are well and truly in trouble now. AFG are 96/5 after 13.2 overs.

LBW!

And now the captain gets in on the act. Shakib Al Hasan traps the experienced Mohammad Nabi and suddenlt Afghanistan look ver lost here. AFG are 88/4 after 12.4 overs.

WICKET!

Both the openers have been made to take their leave, and this time it's Mustafizur Rahman. A simple caught and bowled to dismiss Rahmanullah Gurbaz. AFG are 83/3 after 11 overs.

Afif Hossain at it again

What an over from the 19-year-old! A maiden and two wickets, and it doesn't get better than that. Breaking the 75-run partnership, Hossain dismantled the batting order by dismissing Hazratullah Zazai and Asghar Afghan! AFG are 75/2 after 10 overs.

AFG hitting big

After two boundaries off the first two balls of the over, Zazai hits big and goes big! Mahmadullah punished. What a six, and the first of the innings! 16 off the over. AFG are 42/0 after 6 overs.

Boundaries galore

Shafiul hoped to build on his brilliant first over, but he has been served an absolute culling by the Afghanistan openers. With Gurbaz hitting two and Zazai hitting one boundary, they racked up 13 runs from the over. AFG are 25/0 after 4 overs.

DROPPED!

Shafiul Islam started off really well, and his reward was just there, but Rahmanullah Gurbaz was dropped on 1 by Mahmadullah. Heads dropped. The home crowd in shock. AFG are 8/0 after 2 overs.

Gurbaz, Zazai begin

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai open for Afghanistan. Mohammad Saifuddin opens the bowling, and he does well with his yorkers. Zazai did hit him for a boundary in the last ball though. AFG are 6/0 after the first over.
