The journey from holding your newborn into your arms to getting him/her ready for the real world at school can be quite emotional for both mom and dad. It serves as a bitter-sweet reminder that your little one is not-so-little anymore.
As parents, who want nothing more than to hold the baby as soon as you get home from work, nothing quite prepares you for the first goodbye. You are apprehensive, doubtful and most of all scared.

Something similar happened with Mama Ariele Stewart, who was sending her daughter Millie off to school. As she was recording her daughter take backward baby steps towards school, Millie ran towards her for one more kiss. More than the kiss, it is Millie’s words which would melt your heart.
Ariele took to Instagram to share the heart-warming video and explained what exactly happened that day.
““I love you and I trust you, and I love you and I love you, ok?” I was already videoing her weird backwards walk yesterday when Millie realized she forgot to give me a kiss before leaving for school, and then I captured this toddler pure-hearted gold. I’ve watched it 45 times and forced 90 people to watch it multiple times too, so...why not share the ❤️❤️❤️?”
