A six-member gang reportedly attacked two men with sharp weapons and escaped with ₹15,000 kept in a petty shop in Gummidipoondi on Tuesday.
The police said Seema, 35, runs a shop in Gummidipoondi. On Tuesday, when she was sweeping outside her shop, six men brandished a knife and asked her for money. They barged into the shop.
Seema shouted for help. Two of her relatives rushed in. The gang attacked them and fled.
