Cape Town - Despite facing public backlash after going public with his relationship with Sphelele Makhunga, Itumeleng Khune and his model girlfriend aren't shy to show off their blossoming romance.
The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, who has been romantically linked to Minnie Dlamini, Ntombi Mzolo and Vanessa Masilo, was put on blast after allegedly splitting from Sbahle Mpisane, while she was recovering following a horrific car crash in April.
Neither Itumeleng or Sbahle have publically addressed their breakup.
Addressing rumours that she was Itumleneng's side-chick on her Instagram Stories, in June, Sphelele explained that they once dated for a year, and then rekindled their relationship in early 2019.
Sharing photos of each other on social media, Sphelele calls Itumeleng her "best friend".
Itumeleng calls his girlfriend his "bear" and has shared photos of their dates, as well as their matching outfits.
Sphelele has also showed support for her man while at work events, and we love a supportive queen!
