Pune: Matoshri English Medium School and Sukhai FC registered contrasting wins en route the final of the boys Under-16 in the Srujan Super Cup 2019 Six-A-Side Slum Football here on Monday.
Matoshri School had an easy semi-final round downing Sonba Raiders 3-1. A brace by Roshan Pawar (5th, 13th) – who scored the first and last goal and a goal by Rupesh Mhaske (8th) was enough to end Sonba Raiders challenge.
Kartik Mantur (7th) scored in the first half for Sonba Raiders to help his team take the half time break at 1-1. Later, in the second semi-final, Sukai FC staged a comeback over Mega Pro FA before winning 3-2 in tiebreaker after sharing 1-1 at regulation time.
