A healthcare worker found dead inside her home was murdered by her husband, police have alleged.
Distressed family members found the body of Jessica Bairnsfather-Scott, 32, at her home in Nollamara, in Perth's north, on Sunday.
Panicked relatives rushed to the house after she sent them confusing images of a wrecked car.
A 50-year-old man who was arrested at Perth Airport and charged with murder has since been identified as her husband Harold Carter.

Carter appeared at Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning and was refused bail to return to court later this year.
It comes as Ms Bairnsfather-Scott's heartbroken sister Alison Gibson remembered her sibling as the 'most amazing person' overnight.
'We are completely heartbroken,' Alison wrote on Facebook.
'She was a beautiful soul filled with kindness, love, a smile that would light up a room, she would do anything for her family.

'The world has lost the most amazing person. This should not have happened. I love you forever Jess you will never be forgotten. I will fight for justice.'
Alison's was flooded with words of support and tributes for the 'beautiful young lady'.
'My heart is breaking for you all. Jess had an amazing soul she will be deeply missed by all the knew her. RIP Jessica,' one person said.
'She certainly was a beautiful, kind and generous person. She will be deeply missed,' said another.

Mr Carter's car had apparently been involved in an accident.
A graduate profile of Ms Bairnsfather-Scott gave some insight into her life.
She said she earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Australia despite not doing any of the right subjects at school.
'Growing up, I never imagined that I would go to university, I was never a high achiever in school, but I had a drive to learn and to use that knowledge to help my people is some way.'

'I had no idea of what I wanted to do in life, what I wanted to study or what was even available.
'Growing up I had the misconception that you had to be very smart to go to university so my confidence in myself and my abilities to attend or complete university were very low.'
Ms Carter's family are preparing for a funeral.
Her brother, Brendon Scott, said in an online tribute that 'I'm living a nightmare ... I'm meant to protect you and I failed'.
