Bentley Bentayga Stetson Edition Is An Ultra-Luxury Crossover For Cowboys

Texans love trucks and automakers have responded by rolling out an assortment of special editions which are available exclusively in the state.

Bentley doesn’t offer a pickup, but that hasn’t stopped them from introducing the Bentayga Stetson Special Edition. Available exclusively at Bentley Dallas, the model was created by Bentley Mulliner and will be offered in three different exterior colors inspired by Stetson’s iconic cowboy hats.

The first is White Sand which recalls Stetson’s Silverbelly color which is commonly used on the Open Road hat that has been worn by everyone from Bob Dylan to Winston Churchill. Customers can also choose from Dark Cashmere and Onyx which embodies “the classic Stetson black 100X El Presidente hat.”

Bigger changes occur in the cabin as owners will find a camel main hide which contrasts with a saddle secondary hide and burnt oak accents. The special edition also features a two-tone steering wheel, open-pore liquid amber wood trim and Stetson logos embroidered into the headrests. Other highlights include cowboy-inspired “boot stitching” and special sill plates that read “Mulliner Stetson.”

In a statement, Stetson Worldwide President Xiao Li Tan said “The collaboration between Stetson and Bentley combines two legendary heritage names to deliver an unparalleled experience for Western enthusiasts.”

His sentiments were echoed by the Chairman of Park Place Dealerships, Ken Schnitzer, who said “The Bentayga’s rugged luxury is a tailor-made match for Stetson’s unsurpassed quality.” He added, “The Bentayga Stetson Special Edition combines the best of old-world craftsmanship with American history to create a distinctive and memorable motoring experience.”

The first special edition is currently available at the dealership and it costs $246,578. Two more are slated to arrive later this year.
