Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday thanked Supreme Court for permitting him to travel to Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “I am thankful to Supreme Court for permitting me to travel to Jammu & Kashmir. I'll present my report before the Supreme Court. I am happy that no less than CJI has shown his concern and he has held that he should visit J&K and see how things are moving.” It comes after SC allowed Ghulam Nabi to visit Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla and Srinagar districts in the state with riders. Mr. Azad is free to interact with people, but cannot hold any political rallies during his visit to the state.
