A pensioner has died following a crash while he was on holiday on a Scottish Island.
Philip Walker, 72, from Anglesey died after the campervan he was driving collided with a van on the Isle of Lewis last week.
He was flown to hospital but died on Thursday.
In a statement released via Police Scotland, his family said: "We are grateful for everybody who assisted at the scene, the love and support provided by staff at Western Isles Hospital and the assistance provided by the wider community in the Isle of Lewis in the days following."
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant David Miller said: "Our thoughts remain with Mr Walker's family and friends at this difficult time.
"Our inquiries remain ongoing and we are continuing to urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any other information to come forward.
"This includes anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the incident or who may have dashcam footage.
“Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting reference 965 of September 11."
The crash happened on the A858 between Carloway Bridge and the Doune Braes Hotel on Wednesday morning.
Stornoway Coastguard helicopter, which was on exercise in the area, flew Mr Walker to hospital in Stornoway, but medics were unable to save him.
A female passenger from the campervan and two occupants of the Transit van were all uninjured.
