'Chaupal' ignites ideas at IRMA's campus

VADODARA: With the vision of encouraging entrepreneurial sustainable practices, the 2012-2014 batch of post-graduate in rural management of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) had initiated social entrepreneurship cell (ISEC) at its campus in milk city Anand.
The IDEA CHAUPAL 2019 initiated by ISEC this year too received participation from various leading B-schools from across the country.
The CHAUPAL gives students a platform to come up with their entrepreneurial ideas for various socially impacting issues and gaps that they have identified and venture into innovative intervention.
The campus witnessed a fierce battle of ideas amongst teams from CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing, Jaipur, TISS Mumbai, Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune, WE School, Mumbai and the host institute.
And ideas ranging from creating warehouses for onion farmers to creating meal that replaces nutri bars from Mahau and household items for corporate gifting from paper sludge were deliberated by the budding rural managers.
