FITE starts petition to highlight many issues

PUNE: To address issues of employees working in the Information Technology sector, Forum for IT Employees (FITE) has started an online petition to get attention of the State government to address these issues.

The petition discusses issues of forced resignations, termination, issues related to labour courts, suicide and murder cases of Information Technology (IT) employees, need of smart IT parks and infrastructure, setting up employee committees, setting up databases of IT companies, benefits for female employees, minimum wages for KPO and BPO employees and security of IT employees. 

Pavanjit Mane, the President of Forum for IT Employees, Maharashtra, shared that in last few days more than a thousand persons have signed the online petition and on Sunday the count was above 2,100. 

The Forum for IT Employees (FITE) is also seeking a fast track tribunal to handle cases of suicides and murders of employees from the IT sector.
