Two-day workshop underway at AISSMS College Of Engg

PUNE: A two-day workshop organised by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in association with SAEINDIA, a professional Society of Automotive Engineers in underway at AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune.

The workshop will be majorly focussed on providing the right guidance to help each team reach their rightful potential. Nearly 200 students from 60 colleges are participating in this workshop and 12 prominent speakers across the industry are going to host the engineers in guiding them towards the path of breaking conventions. 

The two-day workshop is being conducted for all the participating teams of BAJA SAEINDIA 2020. The workshop is planned to include training from industry experts on various aggregates of an ‘ATV’ like engine, steering, suspension, brakes, rulebook, DFMEA, DVP, technical inspection and upcoming challenges of BAJA SAEINDIA 2020.

The workshop entails solving questions and queries of the participating member. Thus, this workshop overall helps every participating individual grow and explore. The topics covered during the workshop would facilitate growth and learning of both e-Baja and m-Baja teams. Thus, this workshop overall helps every participating individual grow and explore.

Speaking on the occasion, Balraj S – Convener BAJA SAEINDIA 2020, Pithampur said, “BAJA SAEINDIA is a platform which allows the engineers to explore their potential within and utilize their skills and knowledge in developing an All-Terrain Buggy. During this process, various aspects of industry like R&D, costing, marketing, team work and make them industry ready as and when they graduate and join the Industry.”

In India, the BAJA SAEINDIA (Society of Automotive Engineers) began its journey in the year 2007 and was launched under the leadership of Dr. Pawan Goenka.
