Woman accuses husband of raping daughter in front of her

Ludhiana: A woman has accused her husband of raping their 14-year-old daughter for a year. From the past some days, she said, he had been committing the crime in front of her.
A few days ago, the woman shared it with a friend, who brought it to the notice of the village sapranch. The sarpanch then took the woman to the office of commissioner of police Rakesh Agarwal on Monday.
In her police complaint, the woman said, “My husband has been raping our minor daughter from the past one year. Whenever my daughter tried to resist his attempts, he thrashed her. When I objected to it, he threatened to kill me and my daughter. Scared, I did not speak about it.”
She lost her composure when her husband started violating their daughter in front of her. “I felt helpless as I could not save her. I then shared the trauma with my friend,” she added.
After the woman gave a written complaint against her husband, the commissioner of police marked it to the police station concerned for action.
