Panchkula: 17-year-old hit by biker, undergoes surgery

PANCHKULA: A 17-year-old boy underwent a surgery after he was hit by an unknown motorcyclist in Raipur Rani on Saturday evening.
The police have registered a case of rash driving against the unknown biker.
In his complaint to the police, Ajay Kumar, 17, a resident of Toda village of Raipur Rani, alleged that he went to the Dagri River with his friends around 5pm on Saturday. On his way back home to Toda village, an unknown motorcyclist, who was driving recklessly, hit him from the rear.
He said he received multiple injuries on his right hand and right leg. The motorcyclist fled from the spot. His friends and passersby took him to the civil hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, from where doctors referred him to the PGI, Chandigarh, where doctors operated on him.
Ajay and his family members moved a complaint to the police.

The policed registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC at Raipur Rani police station.
ASI Ramesh Kumar, investigation officer, said: "The victim has given his statement following which we have registered a case. The accused will be nabbed soon."
