A 73-year-old man committed suicide at his 16th floor apartment in Worli on Sunday. The deceased, Nirooman Bastani, did not leave behind a suicide note.
However, his relatives told the police that he had been suffering from depression, said an official.
The police said they were investigating why Bastani took the drastic step.
