Krishna district Joint Collector K. Madhavilatha on Sunday directed the officials concerned to speed up the revision of the voters’ list as part of the Special Summary Revision 2020.

Addressing revenue and other officials concerned during a teleconference, Ms. Madhavilatha set a target of verification of at least 10,000 votes in every Assembly constituency per day.

The Tahsildars and other supporting staff were told to rope in booth-level officers and field-level staff to speed the process.

Krishna District Revenue Officer A. Prasad, Revenue Divisional Officers J. Udaya Bhaskar and G. Satya Veni, and other officials spoke on the status of the summary revision.
