FALL RIVER - All are welcome at United Methodist Church, 600 Highland Ave., on the fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost. Reverend Parent is using 2 Corinthians 8:1-7 and the title of his sermon is “What You Need to KNOW About Stewardship.” The Liturgist will read the following scriptures: Jeremiah 4: 11-12, 22-28, Psalm 14 and Luke 15:1-10. Large print bibles are available on request. Worship service is followed by light refreshments, free to all in the social hall.

The nursery is open for parents who need to use it during the service. It is not supervised by the church.

The choir returns on Sept. 15 at 9:15 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Practice begins on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m.; practice will be each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 9:15 a.m.
On Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., the prayer group “Sweet Hour of Prayer” meets and all are welcome.
