Hyundai plans to launch a second-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicle that will travel more than 580 kilometers in 2020.
Fuel cell cars can be refueled in two to three minutes unlike electric vehicles that can take up to several hours to fully recharge.
The Ioniq is also available as an electric vehicle, and a plug-in-hybrid model. It was also crowned as the 2017 Women's World Car of the Year.
Hyundai's first pure electric car Ioniq launched in 2016 and has a driving range of 191km before needing a charge again, shorter than the electric vehicles made by Tesla and General Motors.
