Calling all hens! KFC launches a WEDDING package worth $35,000 - offering couples a themed celebrant, a photo booth and fried chicken catering for their big day

  • KFC will give six Aussie couples the chance to have a chicken-themed wedding
  • The 'wedding package' will include themed music, a food truck and a celebrant
  • Applications are open until October 18 and then the winners will be announced
  • They will cater for up to 200 guests but not invites, venue, transport & alcohol

KFC is giving six lucky Australian couples the chance to win a fully catered wedding package worth $35,000 complete with a Kentucky Fried Chicken food truck, themed celebrant, music and photo booth.

The famed fast food franchise is looking for engaged couples to say 'I do' over a bucket of the Colonel's finest between November 2019 and May 2020.

Applications are currently open until October 18 on their website with the winners announced just five days later.

'KFC is all about living your best life and we were flattered that so many of our fans are showing that Aussie larrikin spirit by asking us to be a part of their big day,' Managing Director at KFC Australia, Nikki Lawson, said.

'Over the years we've seen some amazing Facebook comments and have heard of some incredible proposals from fans taking place in our restaurants in Australia and around the world. 

'Seeing these we thought bucket, let's create a KFC Wedding service! We think it's important that this isn't just a one-off affair and that as many of our fans have the chance to get a KFC Wedding - so we're making this available for eight months as a genuine service for anyone living in Australia.'

Sadly invitations, transport and alcohol won't be covered however the KFC food truck will be handing out non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day
