Armed cops arrested a man after reports of threats being made with a gun in Wrexham .
Officers from the Cheshire and North Wales Alliance Armed Policing Unit descended on the town on Monday after they were called about threats being made.

Thug who did this to defenceless man in street walked free from court
This is the moment a thug knocked a man to the ground and then booted him while he lay unconscious on the pavement.
Mitchell Redmore had attacked the man without any provocation. His head was said to have been lifted up by the force of the kick.

Driver 'lucky to be alive' after terrifying lorry incident did this to her
A woman is “lucky to be alive” after the step from a lorry’s cab smashed through her car windscreen and broke her nose.
Dominique Brown, 25, from Prestatyn , was driving near Meliden in Denbighshire on Monday afternoon when the step fell from the vehicle and hurtled through her windscreen.

A55 closure update
The A55 at Llanfairfechan is back open after animals were removed from the carriageway.
Delays remain in place at the moment.

Jake Lawlor joked he is ‘usually at the back of the queue’ when it comes to taking penalties, but was bold enough to step forward and fire Wrexham into the fourth round of the SPFL Challenge Cup.
The Dragons claimed a 6-5 win over high flying Scottish Championship side Ayr United on Saturday after the scores were locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes to earn a place in the hat for the fourth round draw which is being made at 12.30pm on Tuesday.
