The Secretary (East) MEA spoke at the UNHRC in Geneva and elaborated on the recent changes in Jammu and Kashmir. The MEA stated that as a result of recent legislative measures, progressive policies will now fully apply to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. These policies are aimed at ending gender discrimination, protecting juvenile rights and making applicable rights to education, information and work.
