A senior sergeant of the WA Police Force has been charged with corruption and stood down from duties.

The 42-year-old woman was the officer in charge of a police business unit in the Perth metropolitan area and suspicions emerged when product supply arrangements changed last year.

She is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.
