Two-day seminar on 'Bengaluru History and Heritage' at BU on Sept 11 & 12

BENGALURU: The Nadaprabhu Kempe Gowda Centre For Humanities and Social Sciences in association with the Department of History Bangalore University Bengaluru is Organizing two days Interdisciplinary National Seminar on the theme “Bengaluru History and Heritage” on Thursday and Friday.
It is a seminar on the historical antecedents of Kempegowda’s family and the Yalahanka Nada Prabhus. It tries to deal with some of the unknown aspects of the Kempegowda’s rule and his contributions in the field of Bangalore history and culture.
The two days National seminar is going to be blessed by the presence of Nirmalananda Swamy of Adichunchanagiri Maha Samstana. Gangambike will inaugurate the seminar and renowned scholar M G Chandrkant, Director ISEC, Bengaluru is going to speak on aspects of Bengaluru.
