Watch Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar fall in love in The Sky is Pink's trailer

The official trailer of the much-awaited The Sky is Pink just dropped on YouTube, and has already started trending online. Starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles, the film is based on a true story and revolves around the life story of Aisha Chaudhary, a 13-year-old who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder, and proceeded to became a motivational speaker. The trailer begins with Aisha (played by Zaira Wasim) telling her audience the love story of her parents Niren Chaudhary, aka Panda (Akhtar) and Aditi Chaudhary, aka Moose (Chopra), and all the ups and downs they have gone through as parents. The first half of the trailer is a must-watch for romantics everywhere, offering a play-by-play of Aditi and Niren falling in love in a small town in India. The big twist arrives when Aditi finds out she's pregnant. And as the years flash by, the couple find out that their teenage daughter has been diagnosed with a terminal disease. As the trailer progresses, fans get a glimpse of the struggles the Chaudhary family faces to keep it together as their youngest members fights for her life.

Not only will The Sky is Pink mark Chopra's return to Bollywood after a three year hiatus, it is also the star's first time the star has worked on a project as both, an actor and a co-producer. The film is all set to be screened at the the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2019, and will be in a theatres near you on October 11, 2019.
