More of the same please
Wales are basking in what was a very productive night for them.
But there is still more international football to be had with the ‘juniors’ in action tonight in Wrexham.
Rise to the top
It wasn’t long ago that Danny Cowley was pitting his wits against Wrexham in the National League.
As manager of Braintree Town and latterly Lincoln City, Cowley was a regular combatant against the Dragons.
And his success with the Imps has brought reward after he was unveiled as the manager of Huddersfield Town.
He described the move as the “perfect opportunity” after being unveiled at the John Smith’s Stadium, the position vacated after the departure of Jan Siewert earlier this season.
Cowley, speaking alongside his brother and assistant boss Nicky, said: “I expect it has been a difficult period for the football club but that excites me. We like a challenge. We feel this is the perfect opportunity.”
