Bhopal 09.09.2019 : BHEL is celebrating 4th Learning Week from 5th to 11th September 2019. During this week, series of programmes are being organised by HRDC, Bhopal.

On 6th September, HRDC organized a Mega Event at Cultural Hall for all BHEL employees. In this event, Dr. Nivedita Ganguli (Renowned Psychologist / Trainer) and Pooja Saxena (Archaeologist & Conservationist) were invited as Guest Speakers.

M Isadore GM (HR) inaugurated the programme by lighting of the lamp. Amitabh Dubey, AGM-HRDC, in his Welcome Address told the audience about the importance of BHEL Learning Week and shared the thoughts of BHEL CMD that BHEL employees must continuously strive to develop their skills and knowledge to face the dynamic market challenges and global competition. He elaborated about this year theme “LEARN-UNLEARN-RELEARN FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH” and reiterated that “Learning Process should be accelerated to match the emerging market signals and Learning should be imbibed as a culture throughout the organization.

Dr. Nivedita Ganguli (Renowned Psychologist / Trainer) deliberated about the various attributes of Lion which justify him to be the King of Forest like Communication Skills, Team Work, Strategic Orientation etc which BHEL professionals should adapt so as to facilitate sustainable growth of our organization.

Pooja Saxena (Archaeologist & Conservationist) explained the history of Bhopal as “Daastan e Bhopal” and reminded the present audience to be a responsible citizen of Bhopal and keep our city clean & green. The audience gave them a standing ovation at the end of their presentation.

On 7th September, Quiz Competition was also organized at Cultural Hall and BHEL employees actively participated in this event. M Isadore GM (HR) graced the occasion and motivated employees. The Cultural Hall was jam packed in both programmes.

Both the programmes were a grand success, thus justifying our CMD’s vision : Keep Learning! Keep Exploring !
