Another big news about the Chandrayan-2 is that its location has been traced as the going round the Moon the orbitrar has taken a photo and it has been transmitted to ISRO Command. On September 7 at 69 second before the landing time at the height of 2.1 kilometer it lost contact with the command considered as lost. But now it location has been traced it is still can be brought in ISRO contact and there can be possibility to complete the Chandrayan mission.
Originally while coming down to Moon surface it was essential to reduce its speed to secure soft landing. In this process the command was applying break that perhaps tilted it and it lost control with command centre. It was 1 or 0.5 per cent error. But in all scientific innovation everything should be precise and accurate.
This year in April the Israel also sent it moon launch at the some area the South Pole on the moon but it also could not make landing there and aborted. In 17 years between 1959 to 1976 Russia make 24 attempts on moon but only 15 succeeded. Japan made first moon attempt in 1990 and it failed and succeeded its second attempt in 2007. India successfully launched its Chandrayan-1 on 22nd October in 2006.
When Mr.APJ Abdul Kalam was scientist at ISRO his team launched a rocket which within minutes fell into Bay of Bengal. Heartbroken Mr.Kalam offered resignation to ISRO Chief Mr.Satish Dhawan, who declined to accept it and adviced to Mr.Kalam that scientists do not give away the project without achieving success in the mission. In time to come Mr.Kalam achieved the height of success by developing missile for our defence and armed forces. The country know him as “Missile man”. He was honoured with highest civilian award of “Bharat Ratna” and made President of India.
All the great inventions of the world started with initial failures and set back. To record the voice for all time to come started with gramophone and record invented by scientist Edison. He had no place to carry on his experiments. He once doing it in running train compartment. It caused fire and the train guard threw him down with his material. Now voice is recorded in many improved ways but its origin is gramophone and its records.
With every set back the scientific invention moves on trial error basis. In the initial despair there a ray of hope in Chandrayan-2 that on finding it location on orbitrar photo may be able to establish contact it and complete the job of landing.
