Two persons with suspected symptoms of dengue have been admitted to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
Hospital sources said Velayutham, 45, and Antony, 60, both from Cheranmahadevi, were admitted to the hospital with suspected symptoms of dengue on Sunday. Antony was reportedly suffering from high fever, cold and cough. “Blood samples have been collected from them,” an official said.
However, Dean S.M. Kannan denied that the patients had symptoms of dengue. He said that blood samples had been collected from the patients and sent for analysis.
