Bhopal: Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Pratap Chandra Sarangi, while inaugurating the 29th Conference of Indian Animal HusbBhopalBhopalandry Association here today said that cow-protection is very important for human life. Various products derived from cow-dynasty have proved to be life-saving. Sarangi appreciated the efforts being made in Madhya Pradesh for cow protection.
He said that all sections of society should work above political thinking for cow protection. Animal Husbandry Minister Lakhan Singh Yadav said that high-tech cowsheds are being built in the state. Cow conservation has been given special importance in the priorities of the state government. He informed that efforts are being made to construct about 1026 cows. Mr. Yadav urged the Central Government for financial support in the implementation of cow protection project.
Public Relations Minister P.C. Sharma welcomed animal husbandry experts from 20 states of the country participating in the conference. Mr. Sharma said that the state government will seriously consider the implementation of the suggestions received in the conference. Additional Chief Secretary Animal Husbandry Manoj Shrivastava, Director Animal Husbandry Dr. R. Dr. Rode, National President of the Association, Dr. R.S. Sharma and Provincial President Dr. Umesh Sharma also addressed.
